Welcome to Hong Kong Garden Aptos, a delightful gem nestled in the scenic coastal town of Aptos, California. Located at 14 Seascape Village, this Chinese restaurant brings a vibrant medley of flavors straight from the heart of Hong Kong.
As a food reviewer for Foodjoyy, I have had the pleasure of indulging in the exquisite offerings of Hong Kong Garden Aptos. The menu is a rich tapestry that beautifully represents traditional Chinese cuisine, combining fresh ingredients with bold flavors.
My personal favorites include the Three Treasures Soup, offering a delightful mix of shrimp, scallops, and rice, while the Yang Chow Fried Rice captivates with its subtle flavors and fresh ingredients. The dishes are not greasy, showcasing a meticulous attention to health, which is often hard to find at typical Chinese restaurants.
The ambiance of Hong Kong Garden Aptos is as inviting as the food. Natural light pours in, creating a clean and serene environment that complements the dining experience. Each visit feels like a journey to the bustling streets of Hong Kong without leaving the comfort of Aptos.

“ Ive liked everything I tried here. Ive been here whenever in area over the past decade, and every time is a hit. These negative reviews surprise me. The battered shrimp is good. Orange chicken, broccoli beef, eggplant tofu, hot and soup soup, mixed veg, fried rice. All very good, and unique coming from standard bay area Chinese fare. But their chow mein is phenomenal, must try. Good balance of noodles and toppings, wokcharred just right. ”
“ I ordered ma po tofu and yang chow fried rice. Tastes good and fresh, not too much oil. Love it! Takes 25 mins to get my order ready they have many phone in orders too. Will be coming back for more. ”
“ Excellent green beans, very tender with plenty of perfectly golden minced garlic Enjoyed the three treasures soup, a sizzling rice soup with shrimp, scallops and fish ”

“ Great food huge portions! Our kids enjoyed the orange chicken crispy and light batter! I was impressed. We ordered Hong Kong chowmein with crispy noodles. The eggplant was also delicious and she asked us how spicy we wanted it. The restaurant was clean and quiet. Lots of natural light, and service was good. We would come here again! ”

“ I love this restaurant. We drive 45 minutes to eat here. My wife gets the Chinese chicken salad and I get the fried prawns and we share pot stickers. The Mongolian beef is also one of my favorites. We ate in the courtyard since it is take out only currently yet she came out and set placemats and silverware for us at one of the the tables by the deli . ”
“ Great place to eat attake out! Portions are solid, prices are fair and quality present. My only complaint is how busy it can get at night. ”
